Important Information for Residents / Stakeholders

All road closures are put in place with agreement from the local authority and Merseyside Police. The closures are implemented to manage the ingress and egress of vehicles to the event site and to minimise disruption to locals by restricting non-residents from certain roads.  The goal is to reduce and minimise disruption within the local areas and roadways surrounding the event site itself.

SOUND CHECKS

We’ve contracted a specialist noise management company to provide noise monitoring during this process and to produce a comprehensive noise management plan for the event. This will include live noise monitoring pre, during and post event.

We will carry out noise propagation tests from 18:00 on the 18th June for 60 minutes. There will be some background/pink noise before then.

Sound check times are currently as follows although are subject to change– these will be monitored by the production team and our noise consultants and NOT ran at show level:

19th June – 12:00 – 16:00

20th June – 12:00 – 16:00

21st June  – 12:00 – 14:00

22nd June – 11:00 – 14:00

Various measures have been put in place to minimise and mitigate any impact on the local community from excessive noise. Ensuring the event is compliant within noise regulation parameters is a condition of the Event License being issued; sound checks will in place to ensure that sound levels are within the acceptable limits both before and during the event.
