Following last year’s events which attracted over 45,000 people, we’re excited to announce the return of On the Waterfront to Liverpool’s Pier Head, kickstarting the summer for another series of stunning shows and live performances from various genres taking place from 18th - 21st June in June 2026. 

Snow Patrol have just been announced as the first headliner for Sunday 21st June, marking their long-awaited return and their first performance in Liverpool in over a decade.

One of the most successful alternative rock bands of a generation Snow Patrol are the perfect fit to close out the weekend long celebrations. Since their 1998 debut, they’ve created major anthems including the timeless classic ‘Chasing Cars’, which was crowned the most-played song of the 21st century.

Joining the bill for Sunday are Liverpudlian indie-rockers Circa Waves, alongside English American dream-pop trio Sunday (1994).

The 4 day open-air festival forms part of a long weekend of entertainment for ‘On the Waterfront’, with Liverpool’s iconic Three Graces and the River Mersey as its stunning backdrop.
