On the Waterfront is a flagship music event that first launched in Liverpool in 2021. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the city’s iconic Pier Head and the world-famous Three Graces, this four-day concert series has quickly become a staple in Liverpool’s cultural calendar.

Every June, over 40,000 music lovers gather for a weekend packed with world-class live performances spanning a wide range of genres. From legendary acts to rising stars, the lineup has featured an impressive roster, including Sting, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, The Coral, The Zutons, JAMES, Deacon Blue, Wolfe Tones, Jamie Webster, Ocean Colour Scene, CamelPhat,  Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Cast, Embrace, Rebecca Ferguson, and The View to name a few. 

2026 marks the festivals 5th edition and features headline performances from the likes Snow Patrol, Paul Weller, Cream Classical and Red Rum Club.  With its unbeatable location, world-class line-up and electric atmosphere, On the Waterfront 2026 is set to be one of the most anticipated weekends of the year, a true celebration of Liverpool’s musical heartbeat.
