ACTS

Thirty-five years since their debut single, ‘Dignity’ - and their debut album, Raintown - Deacon Blue have announced their most comprehensive greatest hits anthology to date, along with a career-spanning box set. All The Old 45s - The Very Best of Deacon Blue (2CD / double vinyl), and the 14CD You Can Have It All - The Complete Albums Collection, which includes a brand-new unplugged CD, will be released by Cooking Vinyl on September 1st, 2023.

All The Old 45s - The Very Best of Deacon Blue (2CD and double vinyl track listings below) coincides with the band’s UK and Ireland tour of the same name (dates below), and charts their multi-million selling history - from bringing ‘Chocolate Girl’ and ‘Dignity’ to life in the corner of a Glasgow basement, to skyscraping, stadium-filling hits like ‘Wages Day’ and ‘Real Gone Kid’, via their swoon-inducing tribute to Bacharach and David (‘I’ll Never Fall In Love Again’), their collective favourite single (‘Your Swaying Arms’), and one of the most significant songs in the Deacon Blue canon, which followed a split in 1994 and the loss of two original members: 2012’s comeback single ‘The Hipsters’ heralded a new lease of life for the group, and jump-started a second act that’s seen them more fired up, and prolific, than ever.

Signed to Seymour Stein’s legendary Warner/Sire imprint at the end of 2016, the band has built an extensive and loyal fan-base through consistent touring, earning a reputation for hugely entertaining, blisteringly loud live shows.

Recent support slots include Catfish And The Bottlemen, Blossoms, We Are Scientists, Madness, The View, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, The Futureheads, James Veck-Gilodi, Jamie Cullum, The Charlatans, Sleeper, The Wonderstuff, The Wedding Present and The Enemy.

This summer sees the band play festivals including Kendal Calling, Larmer Tree, Boardmasters, Neverworld and British Sound Project. Their recent 16-date UK tour culminated in a triumphant sellout gig at Manchester’s 450-capacity Academy 3 venue, and the band has received widespread support from BBC6Music, XFM, Virgin and BBC Introducing.

A band of professionals bringing you concert level performances.  This is not a live juke box, it is a hard hitting live performance that will have audiences on their feet participating in the fun.  Playing hard rock, heavy pop and metal hits from across the decades, there is something for everyone.

We'll bring an atmosphere of excitement to any venue and light up your private party!

Signed to North West indie label Modern Sky, Delights continue to captivate listeners from all across the UK and beyond. Having amassed streams in the millions and played to rapturous audiences far and wide, the dizzying trajectory of this in-demand five-piece serves to etch their name in the scene as one of the country’s most essential up-and-comers.

Delights demonstrate taste through an appreciation of legacy. Their evolving sound spans from sun-kissed dreamscapes to the more recent Cool Sports mini-album, which nods to the vibrant history of Funk, Classic Rock and Psych-inflected grooves.

This year is set to be their most fruitful to date, with the band selling out both of their biggest ever headline shows at Manchester’s Canvas 1 and London’s Moth Club in 2023; alongside appearances at a host of UK festivals over the course of the summer.
